Selling a Home
Why would a homeowner selling a home need an inspection? There is a good answer. It will benefit the seller and the listing agent.
An inspection could help sell your home quicker.
You are selling your home. Many times the buyer will have a home inspection which could reveal some hazards, items broken, items not working, repairs needing attention. At this time, the negotiation and countering begins. This could cost valuable time in the process in selling your home, weeks or even months. In some cases, during the lengthy countering process, a buyer might back out of the deal because of stress or other reasons. It would make more sense for the seller to have a home inspection to reveal issues that might need taking care of before putting the home on the market. This could reduce the negotiation time and make a better experience in selling the home for everyone.
A home inspection is always a good investment for everyone.
